Damion Logan, owner/founder of Apex Wrestling School. He joins Premier after a three-year stint as Head Assistant Wrestling Coach at the University of Pennsylvania, under coach Zeke Jones, a former US Olympic coach and World Champion wrestler; and coach Roger Reina, who has the most wins in Penn’s history, and was a former president of the National Wrestling Coaches Association.


While at Penn, Logan helped develop nationally-ranked ivy league wrestlers who were among the top teams in the nation academically, too. Logan trained multiple All-American wrestlers, an NCAA champion (Matt Valenti of Kittatiny, NJ), and a top-10 nationally ranked team.

Bryan, one of Bergen County's most decorated nationally ranked high school wrestlers was a Cadet Freestyle National Runner-Up in 2000, a Cadet Freestyle National Champion in 2001, a Fila Cadet Freestyle National Champion in 2001, and a four time New Jersey State Place winner.



Bryan is a product of Bergen Catholic High School, the Edge School of Wrestling, and the Apex Wrestling School. At PREMIER he will be one of many prominent wrestling clinicians with in the Complete Training Facility. Bryan will also be studying and designing 60-90 min. fitness classes for athletes as well as conducting individual and group seminars known as bungee circuit training sessions.

Erik Norgaard, Apex Wrestling School Technician, is a Columbia University graduate, an honors program high school teacher, and trainer of several NJ state champions and finalists. He is a Bronze Certified member of the USA Wrestling National Coaches Educational Program.

Norgaard currently works at a prestigious parochial high school where he teaches honors English and History Programs. While at Columbia University, Erik successfully completed a B.A. degree with a major in Political Science (3.7 GPA) and minor in History (3.4 GPA). Norgaard successfully achieved both high academic honors and athletic leadership on the wrestling mat, which contributed to his being voted Columbia’s Wrestling Team Captain two times.

Dane Tabano, Apex Wrestling School Technician, recently served as Head Assistant Wrestling Coach at New York University. Dane is an honors English teacher/director at a private high school, who also holds the highly coveted Silver Coach Certification in the National Coaches Education Program from USA Wrestling. Tabano works with upper-weight wrestlers and was a member of several championship wrestling teams at the University of Michigan.

Foley Dowd, Apex Wrestling School Technician, was a University of Michigan Team Captain, and coach at Northwestern University, where he trained four All-American athletes in two years.

During college, Dowd was 2004 Division 1 All-American, and 2004 Outstanding Wrestler at National Duals, 2002 Midlands Champion, Big Ten Finalist, 2 x NCAA qualifier, with more than 100 career wins. Including a distinction of being a 2 x Academic All-American.


The West Orange resident took 3rd Place at the 1997 Cadet Nationals, and in 1999 was H.S. National Champion, 1999 Junior National Freestyle Champion, 2 x Prep National Champion, 2 x Peddie High School Team Captain. He was undefeated during junior and senior seasons, and was a 4 x Mercer County Champion.
